Hi, I’m Abby and welcome to my counselling page.

I am a qualified counsellor who has a number of years experience of counselling adults with a wide range of issues.  I work with clients privately and I also work within the NHS as an Early Trauma Crisis Intervention counsellor, working with people who have experienced sexual assault and rape.

I am experienced at working with different types of trauma, using different tools and counselling models to help clients, depending on what is most helpful for each individual.

I can help you explore your issues in an empathic, safe and supportive environment, bringing a deeper understanding of your situation.

Starting counselling can be a daunting and challenging prospect for many but my experience with my clients tells me that it is one of the most valuable gifts you can give to yourself.  The rewards can range from a feeling of contentedness to absolutely life-changing.

Working together with people to join the dots of their lives and grow as people is nothing short of a privilege for me and I am most definitely on a journey with every single one of them.  There is nothing more inspiring than watching people find hope where they felt there was none and this is what my practice is built upon.

I am a fully accredited member of the BACP (British Association or Counselling and Psychotherapy) meaning that I have completed a substantial level of training and experience approved by the association.
